These terms apply to the Mashup app and website. By using the service, you agree to these terms and acknowledge our privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Who can use Mashup

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to agree to these terms. Provide accurate account information, keep your sign-in details secure, and take responsibility for activity on your account. Do not impersonate others or create accounts to evade restrictions.

What Mashup provides

Mashup helps people discover shared interests, request friendships, and arrange meetups for sharing, learning, or practice. A suggestion is an introduction, not a guarantee of compatibility, expertise, identity, safety, or any particular result. Mashup does not provide professional instruction or certify users’ qualifications.

Treat people with respect

Do not harass, threaten, discriminate against, exploit, or deceive others. Do not post illegal content, spam, sexually exploitative material, or material that infringes someone else’s rights. Do not misuse personal information, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with the service.

Respect other people’s boundaries and decisions to decline or cancel an invitation. You can block another user through their profile. Contact support about abuse or other safety concerns.

Your content

You retain ownership of the content you share. You give Mashup permission to store, process, and display that content as needed to operate the service, including showing profile information to other users and delivering messages and meetup details to the relevant people. Only upload content you have permission to use.

Meetups and personal safety

You decide whether, where, and how to meet. Use your own judgment, choose a public place for an initial meetup, let someone you trust know your plans, and stop an activity if you feel uncomfortable. Consider your ability, equipment, and any risks before participating. Users are responsible for their own conduct and arrangements.

Mashup is not an emergency service. If you face immediate danger, contact local emergency services.

Availability and account restrictions

Features may change, and the service may be interrupted or discontinued. We may restrict accounts or remove content when necessary to address violations, safety concerns, legal obligations, or misuse. You can stop using Mashup at any time and contact support to request account deletion.

Disclaimers and responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without guarantees of uninterrupted operation or particular outcomes. Mashup is not responsible for other users’ statements, actions, or independently arranged activities. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Changes and questions

We may update these terms as Mashup develops. We will update the date above and communicate material changes as appropriate. Contact us with questions:
